3. Podstawowe zabiegi terapeutyczne, tlenoterapia, prowadzenie dokumentacji.

1. Charakter i nasilenie zaburzeń funkcji oddechowej u pacjentów z COVID-19.
2. Wybór intrwencji w róznych stadiach rehabilitacji
3. Ocena rozwoju niewydolności oddechowej pacjentów z COVID-19.

Richard Novitch MD

Pulmonolog. Dyrektor Rehabilitacji Pulmonologicznej Burke Hospital, Nowy Jork, USA

After completing pulmonary fellowship training I came to the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital 31 years ago. I trained in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, New Jersey. I was previously a faculty member in Pulmonary Disease, Department of Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and am currently an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I fell in love with the field of pulmonary rehabilitation and found that we were able to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals struggling with chronic lung disease as well as recovering from acute lung disease. We have inpatient and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs of which I am the medical director. I am a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). My research interest is developing behavior change interventions in patients with chronic lung disease in order to improve exercise adherence and outcomes in pulmonary rehabilitation.

Federica Gamna is the Manager of Specialistic Medical Area and head of complex disability rehabilitation department of San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital in Turin.
She has been working in the field of rehabilitation for neurological, cardiac and respiratory disabilities in the last 30 years and founded the first complex disability rehabilitation department in Italy. She has been an active member of the Italian Scientific Society for Physical and Rehabilitation medicine (SIMFER) being responsible for 6 years for the complex rehabilitation section and today for the cardiac and respiratory section. She is a technical consultant for Covid-19 crisis within the Piedmont medical taskforce advising the regional government and is part of a team currently involved in a randomized controlled trial whose aim at investigating the electrical stimulation therapy on physical function in patients with Covid-19 Pneumonia.
